Allow Clients to Add/Edit Tasks

Tasks in RightCapital are a means for you to communicate with your invited clients directly within their financial plan. While you can always create and edit tasks as the advisor, you can also grant invited clients the ability to add/edit tasks within their client portal.

To do this, navigate to the Client Settings > Permissions tab of the Advisor Portal. Your Client Settings tab may be located in the Advisor Portal > °°° More Menu, depending on your specific account setup.
By checking the first setting on this page, clients will be able to create new tasks and edit existing tasks within the Dashboard > Tasks tab of their plans. Clients can only edit tasks they have created, not tasks that you have entered. This is a global setting, and will apply to all clients that have been invited.

If you wish to revoke access for this setting at any time, uncheck the box and press the Save button in the bottom right corner.
